A Fast Development

What started as a small enterprise for the building of special machines for woodworking in 1981 developed to a leading manufacturer of innovative products in the segments of assembly equipment, packaging equipment, and automation today.

The Ligmatech company made itself a name in the entire wood trade thanks to its wide range of powerful machines, plants, and system solutions and furthermore knew how to take the position of the innovator. Again and again, the enterprise presented newly developed products that set a standard in this line of business; again and again, the enterprise takes up innovative technologies and continues their development persistently.

1981 Ligmatech was founded as a small enterprise for the building of special machines for woodworking in 1981.
		1990 In 1990, Ligmatech was integrated into the Homag Group.
1992 The company moved into the new building of the company built in the industrial area of Lichtenberg in April 1992.
		2002 The capacity for production, development, and administration was extended in several stages until 2002.
2005 In 2005, the production area was enlarged by another 2,000 m² and a new section of social facilities was built.
